Our Multimedia Communication Specialists III accepts the challenge of creating engaging content which demonstrates partnerships between the city and its stakeholders. The Multimedia Communications Specialist III works collaboratively and proactively with various city departments to create compelling visual content using graphic design.
Multimedia Communications Specialist III duties focus primarily on creating and editing web content on Norfolk.gov, creating compelling graphic designs to support city initiatives and programs while working collaboratively as a valuable member of the Communications Team.
The Multimedia Communications Specialist III serves as an ambassador of the Communications office and is expected to embody the City's core values. This position offers unlimited potential for professional and career advancement for the successful candidate who demonstrates outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills, significant experience in innovative web content creation; and a high degree of enthusiasm for public service in a demanding but supportive Communications environment.
