Payroll Systems Analyst: Qualifications: A strong team player who is able to work across multiple levels and disciplines within the organization and payroll related functions; including experience with benefit analysis and reconciliation, payroll accounting, time management and system setup. The Payroll Systems Analyst serves as the technical point of contact for payroll system configuration including system security and maintenance, system modifications and new functionality, report development, system development methodology documentation, system audits, and business process configuration changes . Must be a deadline-driven and detail oriented individual who is a self-motivated and strives for accuracy within a high-volume work environment.
Project Systems Support
Works closely with Project Team in identifying the need for system changes, formulating system requests, developing pay codes, deduction codes and pay calculations, providing recommendations, data testing, and analyzing post-implementation results.
Partners with Kronos, Payroll Shares Services, ADP and HR Functions to develop and maintain integrations from ADP PayForce and ADP Vantage, Workday, Kronos and external vendors. Communicates business requirements to IT for projects as required.
Develops and configures reports and KPIs/Analytics in alignment with business requirements. Acts as ADP Reporting Subject Matter Expert to assist HR and local Payroll Analysts with report writing and troubleshooting. Create complex payroll and tax related reports using ADP Reporting Tool to meet customer and business needs at intermediate to Super User levels.
Participates in projects of varying size and complexity including system evaluations, implementation of new functionality, upgrades, policy and program changes, special benefit calculations, data testing, acquisitions, process improvement initiatives, and year-end payroll activities.
Utilizes ADP PayForce and ADP Vantage and ADP Reporting to develop and implement solutions that are fully documented, configured, tested, and migrated to production successfully.
Tier 2 support responsible for troubleshooting payroll related issues.
Provides direct technical support to the Payroll Services Team, Project Team and other users.
Performs root-cause analysis for issues and resolves as appropriate or escalates to IT helpdesk and/or software and service vendors for resolution.
Assists integration team with initial employee setup and post go live modifications.
Education– Requires a graduate degree in business, finance, accounting or commensurate work experience in the payroll field
Experience– A Minimum of 7-years full-time continuous payroll experience in a Shared Services environment.
Specialized Knowledge –Proficiency with the ADP platform including work experience with ADP Payforce and ADP Vantage; Work experience with Kronos and Workday a plus. Functional knowledge of internal controls, compliance protocols, payroll tax, benefit plans, Microsoft Word and Excel at the intermediate to Super User level. Possess the American Payroll Association CPP certification preferred.
