Pharmacy Technician at Mid Coast–Parkview Health

The Pharmacy Technician I works in a supportive role to, and under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The tech distributes medications to automated dispensing machines, prepares intravenous and other sterile medications, and performs various duties related to maintaining a safe medication distribution system.

If the candidate has retail experience, there is also the opportunity to provide technical support in obtaining, verifying for accuracy, and recording initial medication histories from patients &/or their designated family/caregivers upon admission to the hospital.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Licensed as a technician by the State of Maine
• CPhT preferred
