Lead the team in utilizing the 10 Key Safety Leadership Behaviors to Do Right through actions in safely producing quality parts at world class yields.

Provide a safe and healthy working environment implementing improvement systems in order to eliminate any work related injuries and ensuring all employees understand all safety requirements.

Responsible for ensuring that the whole team is properly wearing the proper PPE at all times.

Responsible for safe operation and protection of all facility assets.
-
Together with the team and Team Leader, defines problems relating to product/process systems and implement improvement programs to eradicate problems.
-
To initiate studies and actions to overcome quality and safety problems, to reduce waste and improve team performance
-
Together with team members, monitors process performance in order to identify areas for improvement, co-ordinating corrective actions as necessary
-
Assist in the development of new products or processes or systems
-
Where necessary, contributes to research and development projects to meet future demands
-
Responsible for setting up process capability measurement and training team members in statistical process control (SPC), in order to ensure that internal/external customer needs are met
-
To develop and maintain the process’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train operators in their use
-
Trains Team Members in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), problem solving, Total Quality techniques (5S and TPM), and ensure regular audits for the maintenance of such procedures.

Responsible to see that all activities within the scope of this position conform to all applicable safety, TS system, and company policies, procedures and work instructions.

Implement and support required MST’s and all standardization teams.

Support NMI activities.
Qualifications Required:
-
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or technical field.
-
Ability to achieve proficiency in all aspects of processing technology and the ability to instruct operators on best practices
-
Knowledge of and ability to use SPC, process measurement tools, and quality monitoring devices
-
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate verbally, and in writing

Demonstrated strong attention to detail
-
Demonstrated personal computer skills
Qualifications Desired:
-
Six Sigma Blackbelt or greenbelt certification
-
Knowledge of tooling concepts and robotics Glass fabrication experience
-
Ability to read equipment blueprints preferred
-
Five years of technical support in related field
