Lead, manage, and systematize the Product Design function for our 35-year old startup company, Curbco, as we prepare to scale our capabilities as the disruptive growth force in the HVAC retrofit industry!
Can you picture yourself as the driving force for developing, leading, and systematizing all aspects of the Product Design function for a dynamic and growing company that’s disrupting the HVAC industry? Are you the one with the vision for design excellence, that can lead the team to their best performance? That knows how to create effective systems to achieve predictable results and will go the extra mile to make sure everything works beautifully?
If this sounds like you, great! We want to hear from you!
You’ll develop, lead, and manage our Design Team, systematizing to ensure exceptional design quality and schedule performance. There are three primary workstreams. First, you’ll routinely interact directly with customers to understand how they would like to apply our products, solve any design problems, and gain their buy-in and acceptance of detailed designs. Second, you’ll support quotation processes with quick turns of customized designs and cost estimates. Finally, you’ll value engineer our existing products to optimize for cost and manufacturability.
To do this, you’ll guide the adoption of advanced technology and tools, such as expanding our use of the OnShape 3D CAD platform and ecosystem. As well, you’ll lead the development of a breakthrough virtual support system to help contractors to get it Right the First Time #RFT.
As a member of our leadership team, you’ll influence Curbco’s strategy and play an important role in our North American expansion.
