Reviews production schedule and workshop orders for correctness and completeness
Prioritize the release of production orders to satisfy customer sales orders.
Revise and communicate production schedule according to material availability and production capacity with sales staff and production management.
Conveys material shortages for production orders to Material Control to satisfy customer orders.
Generates back order report, confers with department supervisors/manager for revised completion date due to capacity, confers with supply chain for procurement of short parts and revises expected completion date of order.
Distributes workshop orders to production departments.
Requisitions material from warehouse as necessary.
Maintains Bills of Materials for correctness and completeness.
Processes and verifies workshops orders or documents requiring procedural knowledge.
Releases and prints daily workshop orders through computer system.
Operates computer, calculator, copier and / or office machines as needed.
Advises Production Manager as to status of production volume.
Generates and distributes cylinder production statistics.
Overtime may be required.
- Four years experience in manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of scheduling multiple production lines and machines.
- One year certificate from college or technical school pertaining to manufacturing.
- Familiar with office equipment.
- Knowledge of the SAP software/or other ERP/MRP
- Strong Microsoft excel experience
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
