The Production Team Leader is responsible for the production flow and to ensure that all safety and legal protocols are followed by the production employees. He/she will supervise all shift production personnel to provide continuous success of our client. Please note this position will be operating on 2nd shift.
Supervising production workers in building large complex battery units Running automated production equipment in production of large complex battery units Working with high voltage electronics Inspect for acceptability product being produced Equipment troubleshooting General maintenance and preventive maintenance of production equipment Assembly of large and complex battery units Reading and understanding of assembly drawings and documentation Ability to drive a fork lift Responsible for the monitoring of product and quality system requirements Ensure that all product is built in accordance to stated specifications Daily monitoring and reporting on product acceptance and quality system compliance Containment and notification or any non-conforming product Understanding and enforcing all product and quality system requirements Interfacing with all departments to ensure that all quality requirements are understood and being adhered to. Training of production staff Scheduling of shift personnel Ensure 5S procedures are followed Skills and Specifications Minimum 3 years in battery, electrical, or mechanical production environment in a supervisory position in a quality certified (ISO/TS) manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail FS_JD_Production Team Lead_HR_SO_TR_042318 Minimum 1 year experience running and maintain automated production equipment Excellent work attendance record Has performed quality inspections and audits in an ISO/TS compliant manufacturing environment. Minimum 3 years of experience with ISO 9001 and/or TS 16949 Understanding of advanced quality planning tools (PFMEAs, Control Plans, PPAP, etc) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to train and supervise production personnel in a highly technical manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand technical documents including assembly drawings, technical reference manuals, and quality system documentation Education and Qualifications Minimum High School Degree Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience Electrical/ Technical Certification Preferred High Voltage Certification Preferred
