This position will be responsible for preparing completed sample marking on customer provided materials to determine which product is best suited for the customer's application and requirements. Must communicate results in written format with the goal of securing the sell of Telesis equipment.
*Work directly with the Process Lab Manager to prepare samples of various materials to customer specifications, utilizing proper lab equipment and techniques.
*Provide analytical and physical analysis of finished samples.
*Report test results of all projects according to corporate procedure.
*Become proficient in the operation and capabilities of all Telesis equipment.
*Conducts customer demonstrations as required.
*Provide product and software training to customers, employees and sales personnel (distributors, agents, representatives, etc.)
*Modify customers existing logos using various software packages, such as Corel, AutoCAD Lite, etc.
*Document and communicate to management observations of trends or issues involving one of the product lines.
*2 year Engineering Degree, material science and/or related experience
*Laser, laser application, optical and/or mechanical background preferred
*Computer background in Windows7, Windows8, Office 2010/Office2013
*Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
