The North Berwick Engineering Center (NBEC) Turbine Group has engineering responsibility for several HPT (high pressure compressor) and LPT (low pressure compressor) components, e.g. Blade Outer Air Seals, TOBI (tangential onboard injector) Ducts, Vanes and various supports across all of Pratt & Whitney's military and commercial products. NBEC is specifically looking for a highly motivated and disciplined individual, who is technically competent to be a Project Discipline Manager. The Project Discipline Manager is an integral part of the NBEC leadership team and serves as the direct line supervisor for a team of project engineers.
You are responsible for developing and sustaining hardware to meet or exceed module and system requirements and works collaboratively to solve problems with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and system design teams.
You are responsible for all aspects of the design from a project engineering discipline perspective and ensures the successful execution of P&W's engineering process called Engineering Standard Work.
You are customer focused to support the team to meet aggressive program demands. Talent development and mentorship of the project engineers, advancement of the project discipline, and continuous improvement of project engineering tools and procedures are also critical responsibilities.

BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.

- US citizenship is required due to government program requirements.
Qualification: 10 years of design engineering experience or equivalent.
Education: BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
