The Project Manager will support the Base Operations Support contract at the Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. Project Manager performs various duties. Generate meeting agendas, cost estimates, bid forms, technical evaluations of bids, full solicitation packages. Prepare briefings for leadership project status. Facilitate design meetings and review design drawings for compliance with standards. Review and recommend approval/disapproval of contractor submittals. Provide simplified design/studies/research/investigations upon request. Coordinate engineering activities with using agencies, base agencies. Successfully worked in team environment to deliver multiple acquisition packages to client, close out of project and worked in field with Government oversight Engineers and Inspectors on critical issues. Provided feedback and recommendation on team processes to direct manager and aided in implementation.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or facility management from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or from a program certified by the National Architecture Accrediting Board (Project Management certification preferred); Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management at a major US military installation (Air Force experience is preferred);3.All Contractor personnel operating motor vehicles shall possess the appropriate valid driver’s license for the vehicles they are operating IAW New Mexico State law.
Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.
