We are seeking a Pulmonary Function Technologist to: - Assess and monitor cardiopulmonary function. - Perform routine testing, such as spirometry, lung volumes, and diffusion. Education: Minimum – Successful completion of a two-year COARC accredited School for Respiratory Care. Preferred – Bachelor or Master’s degree in Respiratory Therapy. Work Experience: Minimum – Experience performing spirometry. Preferred – Experience performing pulmonary function testing beyond spirometry. License and Certifications: Minimum— Wisconsin Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). NBRC RRT and RPFT credential. These must be obtained within one year of hire date. CPR certification. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of professionals. Physical Requirements: Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. W ork Schedule: 80% FTE (32 hours per week), 8-hours day shift, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
