The purpose of Quality Assurance (QA) Tester is for testing all the aspects of a software solution, functionally, technically and content, in order to meet the requirements and overall quality of the intended solution designed for the Developer Ecosystem. One is responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, content presentation (APIs), performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with internal and/or external systems.
- Detailed understanding of application architecture in order to identify quality issues related to design or distribution of application components
- Expert in automation and how to use it effectively and efficiently
- Has deep knowledge of multiple complex applications and provides subject matter expertise to set direction and create test strategies and test plans for one or more releases of an application
- Ability to negotiate, communicate and deliver effective automated test solutions to both development and QA organizations
