We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist, #Recruiter, to join our Sacramento Human Resources team. This position will report to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner and will be primarily focused on delivering tactical recruiting/acquisition support.
You will partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, understand the business goals and environment, then identify, source, screen and attract a diverse slate of candidates to meet job requirements and Milgard's Core Values.
Responsibilities will include creating position marketing tools, reviewing resumes and screening candidates, arranging interviews for hiring managers, preparation and presentation of offers, initiating background and drug screens, and additional duties as assigned within the Human Resources discipline.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of two (2) years of professional staffing in a corporate environment, preferably recruiting for hourly operator positions. Experience in a manufacturing/production environment -- familiarity with the hourly labor market -- will be a plus. Additionally we desire knowledge of recruiting sources and staffing methodologies as well as experience building relationships with team and internal clients, and a service-mentality, can-do approach to projects and tasks! Strong computer skills will be important.
Spanish language ability is a plus for this role.
