The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for directing and supervising the operating activities during his/her designated shift.

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Directs and supervises the operating activities of the designated shift.
Ensures that all operating activities during the assigned shift are completed within all federal, state, and local regulations.
Manages work assignments, resolves problems and ensures a safe, efficient operation.
Ensures all compliance and safety rules are met.
Trains, coaches and directs staff.
Evaluates performance and offers feedback to employee and next level management.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary technical training and/or Certification preferred.
- 3+ years of supervisory or related experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Good verbal and written communications skills, solid knowledge of core business and excellent leadership skills.
- Previous refinery and/or chemical experience preferred.
