Prestigious baked goods wholesale co seeks sales/business development manager for high profile position. (Prior baked good industry experience a +). Develop and manage customer relationships throughout the industry. Responsible for generating sales and business development as well as growth strategies and generating contracts. Track trends and analyze sales as well as profit/revenue numbers on weekly basis. Deliver profitable volume growth and improve market execution as well as developing new business. Develop strong relationships within the organization: senior management, new product development, R&D and operations. Prepare and organize plans to achieve company sales goals and targets. Involved in promotional campaigns; must have strong product knowledge. Lead internal business meetings and provide updates to senior management team. Proven sales and business development as well as strategic experience. Strong relationship building skills and the ability to penetrate large organizations. Ability to move in a fast paced environment as well as work effectively across multiple organizational functions. MS Suite.
