Key performance areas
In addition to attracting new clients and opening new markets for Coromant products, the Sale Engineer will be expected to keep up to date on competitor activities, which you will analyze and use to develop territory strategy recommendations for the Regional or Senior Regional Sales Managers.
You will belong to an organization that recognizes, and is at the forefront of digital machining technology and sales. Supported by the latest technological tools, and industry leading knowledge building opportunities, the Sales Engineer will test and evaluate customer and prospect processes, design solutions and tooling systems for any tooling-related production issues, and when necessary, present productivity improvement plans that highlight the proper application of Coromant value-added products. In this role, will cultivate effective partnerships with our customers and deliver solutions. You will be a key player in helping our customers ensure their continued growth and success.
The Sales Engineer must be a highly organized, outgoing self-starter. Apart from holding an associate’s degree in an applied science, a business degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in a technical sales position, you understand and embrace new technology and have previously worked in an industrial setting. Networking and cooperation are in your DNA, and you have a well-developed ability to prioritize, follow up and conclude deals. You recognize that cultivating effective partnerships with our customers and delivering solutions that meet their current and future demands is essential to continued growth and success.
This is a field based position, location flexible around Little Rock, AR.
