DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Support the Air Force’s Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) with technical expertise to assist the lifecycle acquisition of Directorate portfolio capabilities. These duties include:
Support IBRs to provide insight into contract cost and schedule performance issues IAW SMCI 63-107, and utilizing the best practices and guidelines identified in the Program Manager’s Guide to the Integrated Baseline Review, AF Acquisition Excellence and Change Office (AECO) IBR Process, AF AECO IBR Workbook Guide, the DoD EVMIG, and the best practices and guidelines identified in the SMC EVM Toolkit Guide.
Verify and validate the Program Contractor’s baseline, identifying risks and analyzing risk mitigation plans, analyzing the resources loaded into the technical baseline, IMP traceability, IMS horizontal and vertical integration, all EVM related information and analysis of actual performance to provide insight into contract technical, cost and schedule performance baseline issues.
Analyze the Program Contractor’s application of its IBR process and other performance baseline execution documents.
Support IBR planning activities including assessing the quality of the plan; identifying, defining, reconciling and managing interfaces; integrating and optimizing the schedule; and identifying and assessing program risks to the baseline.
Using Program Contractor information and data, develop, document, and present Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA).
Develop, maintain, and update Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for divisions within the Directorate and provide them for consolidation into the Enterprise Master Schedule. Provide IMS analysis including risk assessments associated with prime contractor source selections.
Analyze the Directorate’s and Program Contractors’ IMS to identify opportunities to improve program schedule executability.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Science, Technology, Mathematics or Engineering
2-4 years’ experience performing schedule management activities in support of DoD acquisitions
Experience Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office applications and software.
US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must have a secret clearance
