Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Identifies security issues by patrolling sales floor, corridors, rest rooms, and entrances.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring equipment, and access points.
Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
Prevents property damage by sounding fire and protective alarms; taking damage control measures, such as, extinguishing fires.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
Controls traffic by directing drivers and/or crowd control.
Subject to complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Educates guests by explaining precautionary measures.
Secures guests by helping them during evacuations, accidents, or attacks.
Subject to document actions by completing reports and logs; interviewing guests and employees.
Protects organization's image by keeping security and incident information confidential.
Must be 21 or over
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Must be assertive and have good interpersonal skills
Prefer a good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
