This administrative position will be responsible for providing support for daily operations, projects, and data management for the customer service billing department.
Oversee and coordinate the administrative needs of the management team, to include general daily duties, such as preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining documentation systems, and other related activities.
Request, collect, review, and organize data and/or information and develop into reports for department use.
Investigate questionable areas on reports, received information, etc. and make administrative decisions.
Communicate cross-department regarding specific issues and needs as well as externally to customers, vendors, contractors, etc.
Process and validate confidential information and records such as invoices, check management, etc.
Use computer software, such as word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. to produce reports, presentations or other documents related to meter reading.
Maintain the department or section administrative support needs.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures, and PUC regulations.
Excellent computer software skills (such as Word, Excel, graphic software, etc.) and other Microsoft programs.
Strong planning, writing, data analysis, and time management skills.
Ability to collect and compile data efficiently
Has intiative, attention-to-detail and is team-focused.
Solid communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal relationships.
Minimum of 5 years advanced (or progressive) administrative assistant experience
Utility experience preferred.
Associates degree in business or related field preferred. Demonstrated related experience may be substituted for preferred education
