DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
The principal financial analyst will support the Air Force Program Office by providing guidance, quality control, consolidation, and analysis for the various recurring financial reviews and activities to include: Program Management Reviews, Obligation and Expenditure execution plans, funding profiles, Unfunded Requirements, 1537s, Below Threshold Reprogramming funding packages, President’s Budget and Program Objective Memorandum, Budget Exhibits (P-series/R- series docs), Continuing Resolution funding requirements, Baseline Execution Review, Mid-year Execution Review, and Spring Program Review. The analyst will also support operating costs (PMA) requirement identification process and Operations and Maintenance budget support. Providing support with the various tasks above will involve: coordinating with the Budget Leads or with the assigned OPRs for specific financial taskers, developing, compiling, and scrubbing responses, preparing final responses for review with the Program Budget Chief, and ensure on-time submission of all taskers to Director, SMC staff, and HHQ. Responsibilities also include analyzing data from various government accounting systems and Program Contractor inputs/reports to support training; data collection; documentation; reconciliation of current, prior and canceling year budgets; and budget execution for all Programs in the Directorate’s Portfolio.

8 years of Planning, Programing, Budget, and Execution (PPBE)
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy
Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office applications and software
US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (Secret). Must have an active Secret clearance
Knowledge of Livelink, SharePoint and DoD records management procedures
