Senior Business Analyst - Santa Ana, CA
With a presence in 72 countries, our client is a global leader in the investment and securities industry. Our client provides commercial and investment banking, retail banking, transaction banking and asset and wealth management products and services to corporations, governments, institutional investors, small and medium-sized businesses, and private individuals. We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to become an integral part of their mortgage servicing division.
Responsibilities will include:
•Building new MI reports for internal departments •Compiling reports for distribution to department heads. •Monthly capacity model collation for several divisions •Monthly MIS reports for productions •KPI/KRI validation for internal departments •Use data to understand business patterns and trends •Analyze internal and external data through quantitative research •Communicate findings to company through standard and ad hoc reports •Promote best practices in data analysis and reporting •Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ideal candidtes must Ideally at least 5 years in a Sr. Analyst role or similar
Other requirements include:
•Experience in Project Management/Change Management •Proficient with MS Office including: Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project (desirable) •Experience in requirements gathering, creating project plans •Detail-oriented, willing to do repetitive data entry tasks when needed •Comfortable/experienced in fast paced environment, working under pressure, multi-tasking, changing priorities •Strong interpersonal skills, works well independently and in a small team, confident speaking to senior managers when needed •Quick learner, comfortable jumping into ongoing projects •Good work ethic, flexibility on schedule when needed •Willing to work on long-term projects, not looking for advancement in near term
