We are seeking a driven, high performing candidate with significant defense industry knowledge and experience, strong relationship management skills, and a proven track record in Department of Defense (DOD) business development. This position will develop and carry out marketing strategies to identify and capture new business within the defense industry. This person will be responsible for executing contract and task order bidding to include leading proposal teams, developing teaming agreements, strategy development, responding to RFI’s, sources sought response and technical proposal writing in accordance with RFP directives. Perform market analysis to identify bid targets, develop growth objectives, and recommend new opportunities. Identify potential new industry teammates. Develop Strategic business relationships with key decision makers including customers’ senior management. Collect and use capture metrics and lessons learned to continuously improve the process. Develop marketing materials and represent company at trade shows and conferences.
· Requires a minimum of 15 years experience supporting DoD, and a proven successful business development track record.
· BS required. PMP preferred.
· Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Travel required.
· Must possess a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance.
