Achieves max availability of the BHSF network through effective planning, architecting, design, installation and maintenance of the network infrastructure throughout the enterprise. Provides a detailed understanding of resources required to accomplish projects and/or tasks. Provide high quality project mgmt, network analysis, network design & technical services to BHSF internal and external clients. Project manager for large complex projects. Obtains cost analysis for assigned projects. Design, recommend, specify & implement technology solutions and perform as a team member in project deployments. Provide analysis of statistical data into reports for capacity planning. Assist Network Manager with vendor contracts. Ability to design and understand complex LAN/WAN scenarios based on standard system design methodologies. Ability to perform advanced Network Management functions. Provides technical support as needed to lead in resolving network problems. Demonstrate experience using technology to set & enable business goals business case development, planning, execution, determining technical feasibility, cost of strategic options, and strategic possibilities enabled by new technologies. Provide support and mentoring for the lower tier Network Engineers. Adherence to BHSF methodologies and standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
BS/BA degree in IT Eng or related field and a min 8 yrs exp or AA degree and a min of 10 yrs exp or 12 yrs exp. Industry Certifications with CCNA/CCNP/CCIE preferred. Architect and support large complex mission critical LAN/WAN/SAN. Adv architect and install experiences with routers, L2/L3 switches, SAN switch, WLAN, Net Mgmt, QoS, optical, security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, NAC, VPN, etc). Architect, administer & t-shoot complex WLAN, LAN/MAN/WAN/SAN and VDC. Cisco IOS/SANoS/NXOS in-depth knowledge and experience required. Provide technical advisement to IT teams. Assuring IT projects are aligned with the BHSF architecture. Manage complex networking project, present technical designs and options to be considered, test, document, staff cross training, and on-going support for life-cycle of the implementation. Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, SNMP, Ethernet, VoIP, 802.1p/q, 802.11, STP, 802.3AD/PAGP, NetBios, OSPF, BGP, Mcast, HSRP, FCoE, LWAP. SNMP, Syslog, DHCP, DNS, PCAP & analysis & optimization. OS: UNIX/Linux, Windows, MAC & VMware. Knowledge of health care environment. Programming/scripting skills desirable. Strong Skills with verbal/written communication, documenting, inventory, organizing & adv analytics. Follow directions from management and collaborate with other staff. Team player attitude.
