Responsible for leading sourcing and process optimization initiatives to optimize spend in logistics related categories which include 3rd party logistics, transportation, warehousing, equipment, packaging, and MRO.

Negotiation of supplier contracts of substantial value, insuring availability for goods or services at optimum quality and cost levels
Provide budget forecast input for area of responsibility. Jointly accountable for final standards and annual and quarterly forecast to Finance and Procurement Leadership team.
Improve financial position through cost savings, non-price value opportunities and risk mitigation
Drive stakeholder engagement through meeting business needs by leading regional and/or local implementation of approved sourcing strategies
Perform supplier identification and perform bidding and bid analysis for assigned categories
Establish suppliers of choice as appropriate
Leads supplier management and continuous improvement activities for assigned spend area, if applicable
Close communication with global category manager and local procurement team on strategic sourcing strategy development, implementation, category management.
Minimum 5-8 years of related work experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, including supplier management and contract management.

Strong change management skill and able to convince stakeholders
Excellent project management and problem solving skills
Ability to influence without direct authority and in a matrix environment
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Procurement or Supply Chain
Proficient in English and at least one Asian language (both written and spoken
IT Systems - SAP experience as an advantage
Strong category subject matter expertise : More than 5 years MRO, Facility and Construction procurement experience in preferably international manufacturing company
