The Strategic Sourcing Manager, is a sourcing / supplier management professional, project manager and accountable for the assigned supplier governance activities across the Information Technology organization as it relates to Consulting & Professional Services. This individual will lead a team in activities relating to the governance process for Client’s Agile Transformation. The individual will lead negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive prices, resolve issues and achieve favorable terms. The lead will review contracts, change orders, Service Level Agreements and Statements of Work.
Understanding of business law, legal contracts and financial acumen is desired. This resource must have experience in dealing with dynamic requirements that are tied to strategic level business and information technology objectives. The individual will regularly interface with senior IT leaders in career bands 5-7. In order to effectively manage the work this resource must have experience dealing at the VP and Executive levels to achieve desired outcomes. Experience with Scaled Agile Framework activities, best practices, and supplier relationships related to agile development is required. Understanding the metrics that should be measured to ensure successful business outcomes in an agile environment are key along with the optimal delivery models for best business results.
