Responsible for working with Engineering/CM Team to create BOMs and release ECOs using Agile PLM
Responsible for creating test reports for various hardware components
Responsible for testing hardware components before handing off to s/w development and QA teams
Work with cross functionally with Product Management, Program Managers, s/w engineering and QA groups to setup HW configurations for various programs (i.e. 16 USB setup for PA)
Assist with FCC and Safety regulatory testing
Engineering Escalations – Work to troubleshoot HW issues – Configure systems to troubleshoot/re-create customer/QA issues.
Work with Tech Pubs on customer documentation (i.e. Mobile Case User Manual)
Setup hardware/software test environments at contract manufacturers and guide them through the testing process.Required Skills:
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools as well as Windows system tools
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to read test plans and perform testing on software/hardware
Desire to be flexible and work with different groups on varying projects
Should be able to work with a team and take direction from senior engineers regarding direction and instructions
Ability to multitask and prioritize time accordingly
Ability to interact with people professionally in an office setting
Ability to communicate results and grasp the basic technology involved in our products and systems
Must be inquisitive and hardworking, with a true desire to learn and contribute to our systems and products
Interest in new technologies
