This active hospital employed thoracic surgery practice, seeks a BE/BC thoracic surgeon to add to their Southeast Michigan based practice location; the practice has a longstanding history of excellence in the community. Beaumont Midwest Thoracic is comprised of 5 board-certified general thoracic surgeons dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate surgical care to patients who have a disease related to the lungs, esophagus, or mediastinum.
They specialize in cutting edge, minimally invasive techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of both benign and malignant disease of the chest. An ideal candidate will be board certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery with demonstrated clinical expertise in thoracic oncology. They offer a full spectrum of endoscopy procedures of the lungs and esophagus along with dilation, stenting, and laser procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- BC/BE thoracic surgeon with additional fellowship training in general thoracic surgery
- Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a persuasive communicator who is empathetic and a respectful listener who can create an atmosphere that allows individuals to flourish within the context of the department.
