Northrop Grumman Software and Digital Technologies is looking for a highly motivated Systems Administrator to mange the program and development systems as well as support the engineering working being done every day on the program. This position will ultimately support multiple programs in a fast-paced ever changing environment. All of the programs in our area are growing and requires everyone involved to continue to evolve as new programs and technologies are added.
The Systems Administrator will handle all aspects of the development networks including the back-end servers and end-user workstations. They will also be expected to work with the Northrop Grumman IT Security team to ensure the development systems are patched, scanned, and accredited to remain on the network.
Below is a brief summary of the job duties:
Managing multiple, separate Windows domains
Managing a Microsoft Exchange 2013 instance
HBSS administration / installation
STIG compliance remediation for domain, server, and workstation devices
Windows workstation image creation
Server racking and wiring
Power budget analysis for environment devices
VMWare - Environment virtualization and modernization
Red Hat Linux server administration

This position can be filled at level 2 or level 3
Level 2: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of3 years of experience, Master's Degree and1 years of experience. Level 3: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience, Master's Degree and 4 years of experience.
Windows Server Administration / Active Directory
US Citizenship and current Top Secret / SCI clearance
- Microsoft Exchange 2013 or later
- Group Policy Administration
- Experience with STIG compliance
- Security Accreditation (RMF) experience
- Experience with Network Configuration and Troubleshooting
