TAX MANAGER - DIRECT HIRE - SALARY DOE - BAKERSFIELD
Tax Manager is the liaison between the Partner, the client and the Staff. Tax Managers are responsible for managing multiple small business accounting projects and client engagements while providing quality client services, maintaining profitable client relationships and scheduling staffing and coordinating engagement work flow.
*Apply technical tax principles to tax return.
*Work as a team.
*Manages and completes multiple engagements of all levels of complexity.
*Keeps the partners informed.
*Resolves client issues.
*Supervises, trains and develops staff.
*Conducts engagement completion and performance evaluations.
*Maintains knowledge of general economic and political trends.
*Participates in the Firm's development efforts.
*Conducts seminars, making presentations at conferences.
*Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance; or a Master's Degree in Accounting.
*Minimum of 40 hours of annual CPE.
*Minimum of 5 years public accounting.
*Member in good standing with the AICPA and California Society of CPA's.
*Must possess excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
*Experience with paperless software.
*Knowledge of agriculture, oil/gas industry a plus.
*Valid Driver's License and proof of Insurance.
