Description
The primary duty for this candidate will be to provide advanced Technical Support for our customer base. The selected candidate will be part of the North American support staff. This candidate will require a solid understanding of the Oil/Gas industry and can communicate effectively with a global customer base. This role would be ideal for a service person who is pursuing reduced travel in a stable engineering support environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide support over the phone, email, and internet (SupportNet portal/CRM) meeting customer response expectations
- Stage and test customer systems and applications for in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Capture customer question/issue and supporting information into a tracking database from inception to solution
- Provide escalation support for overseas technical support team
- Manage handoff and collaboration to development engineering team
- Manage handoff and collaboration to application engineering team
Additional Information
Less than 10% Periodic travel to customer locations to assess or resolve technical issues may be required.
