Klaben Auto Stores is seeking a customer-focused Receptionist/Clerk for its Kent operations – 40-Hour Work Week / 9 am to 6 pm / M-F
Summary of Essential Duties
Proficiently use phone technology to answer incoming phone calls and refer to proper person or department;
Project friendly, welcoming manner in all phone communication, recognizing that position represents the Voice-of-Klaben for all incoming calls;
Listen attentively, speak clearly, use proper grammar and incorporate voice modulation in all telephone communication performance;
Become familiar with the activities of all departments in order to assist customers with questions and properly route inquiries.
Receipt customer deposits and balance drawer daily; perform basic office tasks as needed that do not detract from the primary responsibilities of answering phones and greeting customers;
Perform simple word processing using Microsoft Word and Excel;
Assist with light bookkeeping and accurate general filing as needed.;
High-school diploma (or G.E.D.); previous similar experience preferred;
Honesty and integrity a way of life;
Excellent verbal skills a must; ability to project a professional, friendly demeanor in person and in phone communication; maintain a customer-first attitude in executing all responsibilities;
Organized, punctual and dependable in all aspects of employment; ability to learn relevant dealer processes; ability to follow directions of management;
Neat and clean appearance; personable; desire to properly represent Klaben Auto Stores with customers;
Valid driver’s license and unrestricted insurability under Klaben policy maintained throughout employment.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
