Emery Waterhouse an independent wholesale distributor has an excellent opportunity on their sales team for a personable energetic individual.
We’re looking for a candidate that resides in the Vermont area and is willing to commit to weekday travel and occasional overnights in order to cover the state of Vermont. The Territory Manager will be responsible for contact of potential customers as well as maintaining relationships with our current customers. The right candidate would have the following:
- Prior sales background
- Account Management experience
- Building material knowledge
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to cold call or prospect for new business
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong presentation skills both written & oral
- Must be motivated to achieve and succeed through perseverance
- Must be adept to using technology to enhance the work effort
- Must be able to resolve conflict, negotiate for success and create a win-win opportunities
