Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Web Applications Developer 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work as a member of a small team developing secure web applications on Linux. This is a new effort so responsibilities will include helping the team to understand requirements, choosing technologies and then designing, implementing and testing the software.
9+ years experience as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and legacy systems)
Experience with web development
Experience in developing secure applications on Linux (i.e. with authentication and access controls and evidenced in work experience)
Knowledge of web application concepts
14 years experience as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and legacy systems)
Experience with C++
Experience with RUBY
Familiarity with Agile Development is preferred
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
