Responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of the Windows server and virtual environments including all associated applications. Administers and troubleshoots phone system issues. Assists with secure implementation of Credit Union projects consistent with established best practices.
Securely implement, manage, and maintain Windows servers in accordance with established best practices and security guidelines.
Administer domain services including Active Directory, Group Policy, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and Certificate Services.
Maintain, update, and support server and cloud-based software applications and services including Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Exchange, Internet Information Services (IIS), Azure Active Directory, Office 365, and a variety of third-party applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated trouble tickets.
Perform phone system maintenance and administration.
Administer and support storage arrays and system backup functionality.
Develop and maintain procedures and documentation.
Administer and support VMware virtual environment.
Remediate security vulnerabilities and assist with investigations.
Assist with networking-related tasks as needed.
Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.
Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance, behavior and performance).
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work cooperatively with others.

Education/Experience – Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; Related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least four years of previous work experience in Windows systems administration.

Reasoning – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Computer – Ability to operate related computer applications including Word, Excel and email. Proficient typing skills. Ability to operate other business equipment including adding machine, coin and money counting machines and telephone. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Certificates and Licenses – Requires at least two relevant IT certifications. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) with a concentration in Windows Server technology strongly desired.
Work is typically done in the office at the company’s principal base of business or branches.
Travel is required occasionally. May be required to travel to various work locations, both local and surrounding counties.

Ability to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Responsibilities may require off site attendance at seminars or meetings with consultants, professional, or community groups.
Position requires after-hours work during maintenance windows when necessary, which can include evenings and/or weekends.
Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision. Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.
