The Wireless Telecommunications Administrator maintains Sprint/Nextel, Verizon and Cingular cellular telephones and wireless devices company-wide. Performs billing/plan analysis and works with vendors to optimize company-wide usage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Processes company-wide requests for Cellular phones and wireless cards, includes requests to move, add, or change service
Conducts billing rate analysis and review per contract specifications
Trains users in cellular phone operations
Provide ad-hoc reporting for management needs and division office requests
Troubleshoots cellular telephone and wireless card problems and coordinates actions with end-users, vendors and IT personnel to correct any interruption in service
Certifies IT communications bills for payment and forwards to IT Accounts Payable
Process returned (RMA) items to vendor as required
