Hematology-Oncology Clinical Instructor
Clinical or Tenure Track
The Department of Medicine at the University of Missouri is seeking hematology-oncology candidates with interests/focus in the following areas: Sarcomas, AIDS-Associated Lymphomas, Bladder Cancer, Brain Cancer, Breast Cancer, Colorectal Cancer, Esophageal Cancer, Head and Neck Cancer, Hemophilia, Kidney Cancer, and/or Leukemia within the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. Candidates should be eligible for the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Medicine on either the tenure or non-tenure track. Divisional faculty are responsible for the continued development and growth of clinical services and clinical teaching activities in the division.
- Candidate would join our team of six physician faculty and two advanced practice providers at our dedicated cancer hospital, Ellis Fischel Hospital, located within the main University Hospital campus.
- Expected schedule would include 7-8, day clinics
- Hospital Call: ~8 weeks per year
- Average daily patient load of 12-15
- Division usually has 45-50 clinical trials being conducted at any given time
All candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. and be either board-certified or board eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology and recognized for accomplishments in patient-care, leadership, and education. For the purposes of this application, board-certified/board-eligible are considered experienced.
