Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott Campus, has an adjunct opening for one or more accounting courses beginning on January 9th, 2019. A one-semester full-time position may be considered. Ideal candidates will be excellent teachers, enjoy working with undergraduate students, and able to collaborate with colleagues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Teach accounting and business students using a variety of technology media, including online course software.
• Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, lectures, tests, class projects, and case studies
• Evaluate students' classwork, papers, exams, and projects, give regular feedback to students on their performance and prepare grade reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records

Education Minimum: Master's degree in Accounting OR a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or closely related field, with at least 18 graduate hours in accounting (ACC prefix) alone.
All degrees must be from accredited institutions.
Experience Minimum: Two years' experience in teaching college level courses or equivalent experience in Accounting. A certified public accountant (CPA) and/or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is preferred.
