Accounts Receivable Representative - Statesboro, GA
Reviews any denial of claims and works toward resolution of the claim. Appeals claims when necessary. Calls insurance companies when reason for denied claim cannot be determined by EOB. Responds to payer requests for additional information regarding claims. Runs an aging report to ensure all denied and rejected claims are identified and the necessary corrections and or adjustments are made for the claim to be processed correctly. Identifies trends in claim denials. Telephone duties, such as answering questions from patients, clerical staff and insurance companies. Communicates with clients or client hospitals for additional information needed on patients such as medical records, correct addresses, etc. Must comply by all HIPPA and patient privacy regulations We are looking for someone with: General computer knowledge with the ability to easily navigate between multiple programs Basic knowledge of medical insurance and terminology Good communication skill Must be a team player but also be able to work independently Ability to work in a fast pace environment, productivity a plus Job Type: Full-time Salary: $10.00 to $12.00 /hour Business Casual attire.
