Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity within the EB Armament Directorate for an Acquisition Program Test & Evaluation Specialist (Journeyman or Senior) who will direct all flight testing aspects of the targeting software development program as well as provide support on software development upgrades.

Job Responsibilities:
Duties include but not limited to:
- Systems engineering supporting program efforts for obsolescence hardware component qualification, and flight test planning, coordination, and documentation
- Executes tasks throughout the acquisition life cycle from requirements analysis through the disposal of a system
- Acquisition engineering including developing and maintaining Systems Engineering Plans, Risk Management Plans, Configuration Management Plans, and other systems engineering processes
- Manages all aspects of the flight test program to include coordination with the various ranges, test wings, and Air Combat Command staff
- Conducts “pre- and post-” briefings to the aircrew and analyzes mission data
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Secret Security Clearance (ideally updated within the last 6 years)
- AA/AS + 10 years of relevant experience OR BA/BS + 5 years relevant experience
- US Citizen
- Effective communication skills both orally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications:
- AA/AS + 20 years of relevant experience OR BS + 15 years relevant experience OR MS + 10 years relevant experience
- Experience with production engineering and diminishing manufacturing sources highly desired
Additional Information:
- Position requires travel (approx. 20%)
- Must be able to rent/operate rental cars while on travel
- Must be able to work varied/flexible hours
