Assist Associate Clinical Director in providing supervision, administration and care management in the Care Management Program and participates in program development and public relations with community resources to ensure the delivery of quality, cost-effective clinical services in accordance with the corporation’s mission statement and general policies formulated by the Board of Directors by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide administrative and clinical supervision to the Assistant Care Management Supervisor and Care Management staff.
Ensure hiring, disciplinary, termination and performance appraisal processes are completed for all employees in accordance with company policy and procedures and within the required time frame for all positions in assigned programs, including preparation of position descriptions.
Maintain regular contact with the Associate Clinical Director regarding administrative programmatic issues, time reporting and service documentation as assigned.
Coordinates program staffing to ensure adequate coverage is available, as assigned.
Evaluate and develop program’s service goals and outcome measures.
Establish and continue to develop a team working environment that encourages free flowing discussions and opportunities for professional development of staff members and provides training to staff.
Determine eligibility for program admissions.
Follow back-up procedures with other staff when unable to be available on-site.
Responsible for analyzing, assessing and preparing monthly program reports.
Conduct bi-monthly team meetings. Provide additional meetings as needed.
Participate in client services studies as assigned.
Attend workshops and seminars in the areas of practice required by the organization, funders and governing bodies.
Maintain current first aid and CPR certifications.
Render a diagnostic and treatment service to clients, which includes handling a cross-section of cases in accordance with the needs and requirements of the organization.
Obtain, analyze and evaluate case data.
Formulates Psychosocial diagnosis, develops treatment plan and goals and carries out treatment process.
Utilize internal and outside resources to benefit client and family.
Provides case management and client centered consultation.
Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy to adults.
Establish and maintain harmonious and constructive relationships with a network of community referral sources. Represent the company in relation to these types of organizations.
Provide orientations for all outside referral sources when necessary.
Work to coordinate system components in linkage.
Provide community consultation and educational services as so designated.
Directly supervises or ensures supervision of the Care Management program. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master’s (M.A/M.S.) in psychology, sociology or social work and meets eligibility requirements as a Qualified Mental Health Professional as defined in Medicaid Rule 132; five to ten years related experience and/or training. Must have LCSW, or LCPC preferred.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist required.
