High School Diploma or Equivalent
1+ Years’ experience in multi-state payroll/taxes and knowledge of domestic employer filing requirements.
Basic knowledge of payroll and accounting required.
Ability to read and interpret complex federal, state and local policies, legislative briefs, regulations and other written documentation as it pertains to tax compliance and filing matters.
Excellent analytical, technical and tax accounting/technology skills with knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), tax compliance and corporate consolidated returns.
Accuracy and the ability to handle responsibility with limited supervision.
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, time management, task oriented, good interpersonal skills, patience, perseverance and follow-through.
Advanced level computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail proficiency.
Ability to work effectively with other internal and external departments and customers.
Proficient in and has a good understanding of relational databases.
Excellent customer service skills.
