Job Description: This position supports tasking at Joint Base Langley-Eustis located in Hampton, VA. The ADAIR Program Analyst will support the CAF ADAIR Enterprise team. Selected candidate will organize acquisition strategies, forecast budgets, perform life cycle sustainment planning, and use various information technology based programs to manage affairs for the ADAIR program. Candidate will review, analyze, and integrate program support performance information and data to determine appropriate contract structure is used and will assist others within the organization and higher management echelons to provide status information on assigned programs/projects, as required, in high level meetings and discussions with senior government officials, both within and outside the DOD and to senior contractor/industry personnel. Applicant selected will participate in conferences, management reviews, and meetings to deliver presentations on program/project status, accomplishments, challenges encountered, anticipated support requirements, and the integration and advocacy of program and project objectives. Candidate selected will perform various additional program support-related tasks as needed.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited through a U.S. Department of Education approved agency is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: Ten (10) years of Air Force Fighter rated aviation experience is required. Candidate selected must also have five (5) years of experience with the USAF’s fighter MDS training requirements to include: Ready Aircrew Program (RAP), continued training requirements (CTR), Mission Qualification Training requirements (MQT), and Formal Training Syllabi.
Security Clearance: An active Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
