The ABA Online Department is seeking highly qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positions. We offer a wide range of BACB-approved courses that meet skill and theory requirements for the BACB Task List including a 5 term practicum experience that fulfills supervision requirements. Courses offered in our program include:
- Research Methods
- Observation and Measurement
- Professional Ethics and Issues
Our faculty members typify an engaged practitioner model of education to teach post-masters and master’s-level psychology courses and integrate technology into classroom instruction.
Online courses at The Chicago School are taught through the Canvas learning management system. All new adjunct faculty members in Online-Blended Programs will participate in our 7-week Teaching Online Pedagogy and Standards (TOPS) course, which covers best practices and new developments in online teaching and learning.
Engage students in ABA curriculum through discussion and assignments as outlined in the course syllabi. Provide students substantive feedback in a timely manner. Respond to student questions and concerns. Provide supplemental material as needed. Offer a minimum of one synchronous learning opportunity to students by mid-term. Attend monthly departmental adjunct meetings.
- BACB-D Certified candidate is required.
- Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
- Teaching experience (3 years preferred)
