The Biological and Chemical Sciences Department at New York Institute of Technology, Long Island campus anticipate openings part-time (adjunct) instructors for daytime/ evening courses in Fall 2020 semester. The Biological and Chemical Sciences Department at New York Tech offers degrees in Biology, Biotechnology and Chemistry.
We expect that the new hires be qualified to teach service courses in Biology and Chemistry.
These candidates must have a minimum Master’s degree in Biology or Chemistry and prior exposure to teaching college level undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses.
Candidates should have prior experience in remote and/or online teaching using an LMS (such as Blackboard or Canvas) for course delivery.
All adjuncts will be expected to participate in orientation to teaching technologies, as needed, before the start of the semester.
