The Naval Sea Systems Command’s Enterprise Information Technology /Command Information Officer (SEA 00I EITO/CIO) provides superior management and compliance of Information
Management/ Information Technology (IM/IT), cybersecurity, and Information Systems (IS) lifecycle management and compliance for the NAVSEA Enterprise. The NAVSEA Enterprise is
comprised of over 35 work sites worldwide including NAVSEA Headquarters (HQ), Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Warfare Centers, Shipyards and Supervisors of Shipbuilding and more than 60,000 users.
- Oversee and administer the day to day activities of the office. Performs research and analysis on specific issues, as required, and independently prepares non-routine letters and/or reports, which may be highly sensitive and confidential in nature. Coordinates the disposition and/or resolution of individual problems and disputes involving staff as they arise. Provides assistance in the understanding and interpretation of policies and procedures, as appropriate. Ensures that office operations are in compliance with policy provisions and standards. Possess organizing and coordinating skills. Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues. Ability to plan, develops, and coordinates multiple projects. Knowledge of office management principles and procedures. Skill in the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or presentation software. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. The candidate must be a self-starter, and be able to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
- 8+ years of experience or 4 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
