|POSITION SUMMARY: Provides analytical and specialized administrative support to relieve executive, administrative, and line and staff managers of complex details and advanced administrative duties. Executes special or continuous research and data analysis tasks. Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data, and prepares reports/recommendations. May coordinate messages, appointments, information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies and mail. Researches, compiles and proofs word processing assignments. Operates automated office equipment. Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties. Contacts company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature. Assignments may be found in various functional areas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Provides administrative and office support to management and/or department. - Coordinates messages, appointments, information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies and mail. - Maintains departmental calendars, provides support for travel arrangements, and coordinates meetings. - Researches, compiles and proofs word processing assignments. - May be assigned to various functional areas of the company. - Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. - Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments. - Monitors work to ensure quality, and continuously promote Quality First Time.|
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Has substantial understanding of the job, and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. - Must have working knowledge of Word Processing, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and related office software programs. - Excellent detail and organizational skills required. - Must have strong communication skills and have experience managing multiple tasks and assignments. - Must be able to exercise confidentiality.
