Under the general direction of the Manager(s) of Rehabilitation services, assumes responsibility for coordinating outpatient scheduling, inpatient and outpatient billing, insurance clearance and general office management. Respects confidentiality of patient information and department reports of a sensitive nature. Maintains a high level of expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development. All staff members must be proficient in core accountabilities.
High school graduate of equivalent. Associates degree preferred. Ability to operate general office equipment. Familiarity with personal computers. Microsoft Word and Excel skills necessary. Excellent problem solving and communication skills required. Ability to work well with people under stress. Familiarity with medical terminology.

CPR Certification Required
1-2 years of administrative experience required.
Able to function independently within the scope of departmental policies and procedures. Generally establishes own work plan and sets priorities to assure timely completion of assigned work in conformance with department policies and practices. Problems lacking clear precedent are reviewed Manager/Director of Rehabilitation Services, administrative lead or designated therapist.
Oversees and may direct volunteers, as requested.
