Customer Support Coordinator / Administrator GP Practice

Our client a General Practice Doctors Surgery based in North Dublin are
looking for a Customer focused Administrator. They provide, not only the highest quality general practice services, but also have doctors and nurses who are specially trained in Fertility and Ultrasonography; in Sexual Health; Menopause; Men’s Health; Travel Vaccinations; Antenatal Care and Mental health. Their additional services include Physiotherapy, Psychotherapy/Counselling, Chiropody and Sleep Therapy. They have invested in ‘state of the art’ diagnostic and ultrasound equipment, which enhances their diagnostic and therapeutic abilities on site.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to operate as part of a customer-focused administrators’ team. They will require a positive attitude with a friendly, outgoing, helpful personality. They must also possess the ability to co-ordinate and organise a busy GP Practice with a strong attention to detail.
The role will involve. meet & greet patients in a friendly and professional manner on arrival. Ability to communicate well and deliver excellent customer service. Supporting the medical staff re administration and customer service. Receiving and screening calls from patients in a professional customer focused manner. Relaying messages to medical staff re patients. Dealing with hospitals, pharmacies, and outside agencies. Monitoring the waiting room, identifying ill patients, and responding calmly to emergencies. Managing post and messages. Processing medical forms, medical results etc. Processing payments, petty cash, stock control re PPE. Upkeep of reception and clinic. familiar and at ease with new technologies, applications, social media / tech savvy and wants to apply learnings to a healthcare setting. good communications skills and ease with presenting to a diverse patient base and / or handling customer enquiries.
NUMBER OF YEARS PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
The candidates should have the following abilities and experience:
Previous experience in an administrators Support / Office Administration role in Healthcare an advantage Great time management skills Excellent communication Attention to detail /Must have excellent Systems and Microsoft Office skills
