Memorial's comprehensive epilepsy program has been recognized by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) as a Level 4 Epilepsy Center since 2014. The Center's multidisciplinary team includes neurologists with fellowship training in neurophysiology and epilepsy, a fellowship trained functional neurosurgeon, neuropsychologists, neuroradiologists, two ARNPs, a psychologist and an epilepsy-experienced nursing staff. The active Epilepsy Center at Memorial has evolved in recent years to become recognized as a regional referral center for the diagnosis and management of epilepsy across its entire spectrum.
