The Montana Standard is seeking support staff for our advertising department in an Advertising Sales Coordinator role. This person assists and supports our retail and classified account executives.
Responsibilities can include processing advertisements, organizing and proofing customer supplied ad materials and copy, inputting classified and retail advertisements into multiple software programs, corresponding with advertising customers by phone, email and in person. The individual must be able to performing a variety of other support functions and support other departments on a needed basis if necessary.
Familiarity with an office environment gained through 1–2 years of administrative and/or advertising work experience is preferred. Qualified candidates will possess solid customer service skills, excellent telephone and face to face etiquette, strong PC/MS Office Suite skills as the ability to learn new software systems and applications. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task. Strong oral/written communication, and impeccable organization and attention to detail.
